Does anyone know how to make a Flash Website?
That is a mighty broad question. I have created flash for quite a few websites. So what are you looking for in the flash website? PM me if you like.

You don’t need a whole flash website to show off your portfolio. You can just find one of the many flash photo galleries out there and just put that in a website template (also tons online). There are also a lot of nice java script/jquery ones that you can use.
Or maybe you could try HTML5? I haven’t used it myself yet… want to give it a try…but theoretically it will able to do anything that flash can.
Or like Mungoid said, just use what is already available… for example ajax or jquery galleries. Like: http://www.huddletogether.com/projects/lightbox2/. You can also use Drupal which has many of those available as modules (if you have access to database).
One bad thing about flash is that you can’t change it so easily, always have to change the source. Which is why I stopped using it all together for sites… and if I do a site, I will just use Drupal with it’s many modules on top.
I was going to suggest HTML5 as well but if it is a portfolio, you want as many people to be able to see it as possible and there is still a large percentage of people that don’t use a browser that fully supports it.
And yeah, flash is a pain if you want to change it. So unless you plan on keeping it the same for a long time, I’d suggest sticking with just JavaScript
I have been playing with html5 and am excited to have the broiwser deal with the video file. But support right now is weak at best. Maybe in a few years…
As for not being able to change the flash, that depends on the programmer. All flash I create is completely configurable via an XML file. But that is VERY unusual for a Flash developer to do that.
