I tried to figure out how to use this new hair particle emitter in Blender 2.46 and after 3hours I still don’t understand it.
And all the tutorials on the net are for the old type hair, and not this new fancy Buck Bunny hair. Does anyone have any ideas?
Select the particle buttons and press Add new. Change the particle type from Emitter to Hair and then give it some initial velocity. That is increase the Normal and or Random values to “grow” the hair. That is the basic steps to get hair on an object. There are tons of other options to play with like, adding child particles to increase the density of the hair. Here is a quick test setup:
Note: I added child particle and set them to Curl.
