If i’m not mistaken, d00gz and zr30d were making an open ended game similar to the elder scrolls called crescent dawn… it looked amazing! whatever happened to it? did it turn into that lame crescent dawn online chatroom? I would really like to at least try this game, it was such an inspiration for me to try the game engine, and I would at least like to know what happened to such an ambitious project…
I wondered the same, I asked if Saluk was able to release the old Crescent Dawn as source to learn from as well to play around with it. He said he should ask Doogs and discuss if he would release the old version. Afther I did my question I didn’t hear anything until I saw one of them post again, asked again and no answer again.
Currently I have no idea what exactly happened to it, I was also quite inspired by CD when it was a 1st person rpg like game. I’m thinking about to create something simular with blender and make an open project, and if everything goes well I could try to make an multiplayer as well. But that’s quite a lot of work and lots of tweaking to make it run smooth.:eyebrowlift2:

They moved to python-ogre I think.
Crescent Dawn Online Moved to Ogre, I always wanted to try the single player CD though… looked like fun picking up grass and whatnot 
sounds cool, I like the part where you sit and fish.
