Does Blender 2.40 include a proper and nice “snap” system?, snap to point, snapt to mid-point… etc…etc… , I know that below that version does not include one.
P.S. or anyone know maybe a python script that does that?
It still does not.
Try shift+s. You can get snaps even faster by hitting shift+s+2 (snap selection to cursor) etc.
damn!, well, let’s hope they do in the future, some works are a pain in the a*** to finish without that.
Yeah, I would quite like more snapping options too but I get by with the cursor. If you need to snap to a point, select the point then shift-s>cursor to selection, then select the point you want to snap and shift-s>selection to cursor.
