Does it matter if my model looks weird in solid view but looks ok in render view?

Does it matter if the image is distorted on solid view but not in rendered view, like this?

This won’t pose a problem if I was to export it to Unreal Engine or anything would it? Would anybody know how to fix this problem and know why its occuring?

Solid view isn’t really meant for texturing, except for really simple stuff, so it can look all kinds of wonky. It doesn’t matter. The material preview and/or render view are what show you your actual material setup.

Ah, so as long as it looks good in the final render everything should be ok?

Technically yes. Except for cases where a given exporter can’t export something the way it looks.
