I was wondering if anyone thought that this site might be a safe place to buy from, I was thinking about getting rossetta stone here, because it has some major discounts. No not at all. My first hint was that the url has “4u” in it… oh it’s just for me is it?

If there any doubt - good idea is to check whois record. The site was registered by some Chinese guy with email [email protected]. There is no way a big company would use hotmail for their needs.

The site looks legit but doesn’t seem to have any authenticating features.

I think just having to ask whether a site is legit or not is enough to convince me otherwise…When in doubt, doubt.

I would “doubt” any site that promised to sell me a commercial product for a price that is obviously too good to be true. If Rosetta wants to put out a sweet deal on their product, they’ll do it through Amazon. (Or maybe, Amazon will simply do it to them … :rolleyes:)

Actually, the price is not too good to be true. It’s a similar price you would see if you went through a legitimate software discounter.
