Does anyone use Deviant Art?
I personally don’t, not at the moment anyway, I was just wandering. Post links if you want to show off, of course.

I usually save my renders in my “Made with Blender” gallery on DeviantArt
I do, along with 2D drawings too, since I love working on digital art programs, and I am trying to make a simple portfoliso using devianArt this way, the link is on my signature :D.
I do for some of mine
I’ve only ever really used it for 2d…
Last I looked DeviantArt is a very complex website, you have the main forum then you have threads in the various galleries and profiles of the user and a thread for a user group and all that, plus there’s just tons and tons of members. I don’t use it presently.
If you could compare this and Deviant to a store BA would be a medium sized store more specialized then some, DeviantArt would be Walmart.
Yes, I do. There’s more to see there than in the finished works section here, too. Some of the stuff just doesn’t seem interesting enough to upload it here so I’m only showcasing it on dA.
Yes, I do Although not on the forums, just on my user profile page
Oh, and following Robotoms advice : svenniemannie.deviantart.com ^^
I don’t trust DeviantArt. Their agreement states that they hold the rights to anything you upload. (Or at least it has in the past, it’s been a long time since I looked at it.)

really? that sounds kind-of conspiracy-ish to me, i doubt they would be able to enforce that considering the insanely large amount of works on that website…
Time for shameless plug!

not much blender works there though, mainly PS
^^ The Gentle Giant is great. I love it.
I’m a member but I never got around to posting anything. I should do that. It’s been months.:o
Woah, that’s worth checking out!
Remember the phrase “conspiracy theory” means something very different to “inacurate” or “unsubstantiated.” The latter are really far more of a problem than the former, and in this case PlantPerson’s information can be easily refuted / substantiated.
It’s not a conspiracy theory, it’s what it says in the EULA. You know, that page of text you probably didn’t read before clicking “I Agree”? I read it (a few years ago) and that’s what it said. I don’t know what you mean by “enforce,” but the concern is that they could do something like make a book of “The Best of DeviantArt,” include your work, and not compensate you for it.
I recently too started using deviantart to show all my blender experiments. There are a lot of 3d artist there with traditional skills, if you search for 3d art Deviantart is full of model pictures
My deviantart page: http://ruberboy.deviantart.com .My last test is a character painted with projection painting.
I have a few things in there, but I don’t use it as a complete portfolio.
I use deviantart for most of my stuff, because there’s no max bandwidth and it has high quality uploads, but for things I’m not sure are abiding by the rules, particularly copyright stuff, I use photobucket. My deviant tart gallery is in my sig.
