Hi everyone, i have a question about DOF
I implemented DOF into my game a while back now.
In 2.49 it blurred both the main scene and the overlay scenes, but that’s fixed in 2.5. (isolate shaders)
my question is how to get the DOF to set the object you’re looking at in focus.
I did try using a ray, and getting distance, and setting way waypoints, but it was a bit rubbish.
Has anyone got a good script, or idea of using DOF to blur the background slightly, keeping the target in object in focus? it has to be dynamic, has it’s for my FPS.
If I’m still unclear, check out Call Of duty, the zombies is quite obvious with the default pistol. Thanks.
