Hello,
It’s been some time but here I’m back again and this is my latest work…
It’s made for a friend who requested me to model an updated version of the ME-109 Messerschmidt and the goal was to turn it into a more aerodynamical jet version of the old ME-109 they used in WWII. Another request was to make it a variable sweep wing design like the F-14 Tomcat and with the air intake of a MiG Fishbed…
I personally chose for a mountain like scenery with a slight sunset in the background with the updated ME-109 chasing its opponent with its guns blazing…
Anyway enough chatter here’s the final image and ya know the drill, C&C always welcome!!!
Really smooth mountains, maybe a bump map to roughen them up a bit.
I think the plane might face the camera a bit more with exaggerated perspective so it looks like the person with the camera is closer to the plane…
Also, I think that the ailerons (wing) are on too much of an angle. And only on very modern jet fighters do the elevators (at the tail) tilt like that.
@ sdfgsdfg: yeah, the mountains should be more spikey, I agree on that one, personally I like the angle of the plane and camera and the tailwings was a request of that friend so but nonetheless thanks for the reply and I’ll keep it in mind for future projects…
@ GausStriker101: Both the muzzle flashes and projectiles are modeled and using the new volumetric materials :), hope this helps ^^
@ Kurchuri: Thanks, I really like to hear you like it
