I didn’t find a quite a subforum which would match my question…so I thought this one might be the right one…otherwise just forgive me (o;

In here it is described that a badge will be shown when you support the blender foundation through a donation…but how is blender.org website linked to this site?

OTOH this website has also a donation button…so blenderartists.org website gets no moeny from blender.org donations?

Looks to me like many chiefs in the same kitchen (o;

If you support the Blender Development fund and you use the same email address for your Blender ID and here, the accounts will be linked.

And correct, we don’t get money from the Blender Foundation - all their donations go towards Blender developement. BlenderNation and Blender Artists are separate entities.

Hmm…when I want to checkout at patron with paypal, it won’t use my paypal balance, only a supplied credit card…is that normal?

Might be due to mixed currencies I have, Euro balance and swiss credit card (o;

Never mind, all set now :slight_smile:

It actually deducted the US$ 5 from the paypal balance…maybe it just wants a credit card as well in case balance is too low (o;
