Donkey Kong's Mission

Here is the game I am working on. I am using it as an excuse to learn blender and later on, python. It started with learning how to draw the character in pieces and then parent all the planes to the bones of a rig, and then I couldn’t stop even though I know nothing about making games. (Tips and critiques accepted!) I started maybe a year and a half ago, so I’m afraid it has maybe become a little childish, but I want to finish it before I move on to a different project and forget about it. Anyway, here’s is a video of my test level so far:

Here is the scenery I created for a cave level (See my post in ‘Support’ concerning sound effects fading in/out depending on character location cuz I need some help.) I created the song myself and I’m kinda proud of it :slight_smile: :

Bitesize ~ Bush Guy Appears/Walks (Original) ~ Clap Trap ~ Diddy animation test ~ Fuzzy ~ Goomba ~ Crabster (Kind-of Original) ~ Green Walking Kremling death test (first character that I animated) ~ Heavy Army Kremling ~ Jock Kremling ~ Jr. Necky Fly/Die ~ Koopa Troopa (not animated yet) ~ Necky Fly/Die ~ Neek ~ Harmless Beetle (Original) ~ Piranha Plant (not yet animated) ~ Thwomp smash test ~ Zinger.

I’ll keep posting with updates, but I’ll probably be on the ‘Game Engine Support’ page more often since I have no idea what I’m doing yet. I’m taking a python class, though, so maybe that will help. Hehe! XD
