Recently made these characters, for a doritos crisps advertising campaign.
Blender was used for the characters, while the rest was photoshop.
These look great! I :yes: especially like the jalapeno guy. Makes me want Doritos, definitely. Do you know where they’ll be using these ads?

Its canada only at the moment, I haven’t seen the real things myself as I’m in the uk.
Forgot to add final images were 6,188 x 8,861 px ,though the 3D bits were smaller.

ahh nice work… i was riding the bus to work the other day and i saw the one with the BBQ character. at the time i thought it was a fun ad, although the “dust” particles behind the BBQ made me think of ash and soot a little…kinda like “sprinkle some coal on your chips” but the idea is great and it was a passing thought. not like it looks bad or anything,.
but i think its pretty cool that it was made with blender, i had no idea until i checked BA this morning… good work… always love your stuff.
Excellent work, the barbecue grill is a real cutie, the shinyness works really well here. Nice concepts, they really look like some crazy chips commercial characters should look like, fitting the bright, vivid colors and the background. Very nice, hope it was a good job
