Double Bass - Scroll? Help~

So I’ve got my double bass model almost complete, Just need to add the scroll and strings.

I have absolutely NO Idea how to go about making the scroll for this, or any instrument! Any suggestions or recommendations would be fantastic!

I’ve made multiple attempts, but I am at a loss! Heres a photo of what I’m trying to make

Attempting to do it with a bezier curve, never experimented with these before o_O
