Double Sided Faces?

Hello there, my friends!
I was blendering an airship today, I was, and I ran into a slight problem! You see, this is a rather steampunky airship, with a cabin, and the problem that I was faced with was the windows! I need them to be visible from the inside, and the outside! Now a nice young chap told me about something called the “texture face panel”, but when I was looking for it, I couldn’t find it! Can anyone tell me how to get to it and exactly where it is on my screen?
Thank you my friends,
TALIHO!

Double sided option is in “Properties >> Object Data button >> Normals panel”, but I’m not sure if this is what you are looking for.

I think that the best way to achieve this is in the Material Nodes. You simply:

  1. Add a Geometry Node >
  2. Take the “Front/Back” value from that Geometry Node and plug it into >
  3. The “Mix” Node which will also be inputting the two different Materials or Textures you’d like.

I think this Tutorial might help (but I haven’t watched it, so I can’t confirm that) - http://cg.tutsplus.com/tutorials/blender/3d_cg_vfx_blender_materials_mixing_texturing_rendering_node_editor/
