It’s weird… I entered www.blender.org (http://www.blender.org/download/get-blender/) and pressed the download button for windows. Immidiatly my anti-virus Bullguard pops up and have deleted 2 virusses, both a trojan.downloader.Zlob.ZS, in my temp folder. I had scanned my whole computer yesterday, so it must be the download trying to fix me. After that, I tried one more time, and then the link couldn’t be found? Can anyone tell my what’s going on?
ive personally never heard of such a thing happening but since you said the virus was found in another folder then it was just a coincidence that it popped up during you clicking the download button,
i don’t think the blender foundation would really give you a virus…
It’s not a coincidence. I’ve tried it again, the same happened. I have print screen of it.
This sounds like a false positive.
My antivirus pulls the same crap on me everytime I try and install Ares.
What is Ares?
Peer to peer software. Like Limewire.
Well I had no trouble downloading blender… It was as easy as always… Its very weiard…
This didn’t happen to me.
Although i had Zlob before and its really a fucking pain in the ass.
But i hacked the sites i got it from so now i am all happy again.
As madcow said its propably your antivirus being paranoid.
