Downloading the user manual

Hi,

I can’t seem to find where to download the Blender User Manual, I mean for 2.48 of course. I did find an html tarball for 2.3, but not for the more recent version. I do a lot of work on a laptop, with no net connection, so I really need an offline resource, I don’t always have access to the online wiki. Does this exist at all ?

:eek: Wow! I’ve also wondered if the manual was in pdf form before.

The wiki is great but there should also be links to the pdf files. I think it’d make the app. more accessible to people.
