Dr. Snuggles Rocket Dreamy Boom Boom

As a child of the 70s this was the most fun rocket (apart from the one from Tin Tin and everything Star Wars) on television. It’s Dreamy Boom Boom from one of the weirdest cartoon shows Dr. Snuggles.

So of course I wanted to model it in Blender, so I could finally put my BlenderKit subscription to good use

So I started with some basic planks in an array and took it from there.

I used this wooden barrel from BlenderKit to kit bash the iron beams/rings (what are those called?) to recreate those from the reference image.

Here’s an update. I did some light modeling and some kitbashing from Blenderkit models and I think I used a faucet from iMeshh to detail the rocket.

I’m still talking to myself, but that’s okay. Just documenting the progress as I go along. I’ve used the base parts of a telescope for the side rockets/fins/whatevers.
An IKEA porcelain handle from Blenderkit for the lift-off chain etc.

This is quite a fun way to do this, because it starts to approximate the cartoon version pretty good already.

Of course since it’s not a very mainstream cartoon with many followers, there’s not a definitive way this rocket looks, which gives me more freedom to just eyeball it and have fun with it.

Hoops. Of course. Thank you!
