I quickly threw together this little render, partly inspired by the absolutely amazing render: The Old God of the Northern Mountains by BjarkeDuDe, for a school project.
This has the nuts and bolts for an epic scene.
But right now, it could use a longer transition to black (the foreground ends up getting lost in a sea of nothing), and the Dragon mesh could use a bit more polish and detail around the head and back.
In a sense, it’s not bad, but more work on it would only be beneficial.
Thanks for the post, but I’m not really planning on changing it in any way since the school project has already been finished. But I might redo the entire thing at some point however and try to really make something out of it.
little render?!. This looks great. I love it. How much time it took you? and did you use something else but blender?
Thanks, but it only took me about three days to make. And I didn’t really use anything other than blender, I think I might have done some colour correction using gimp or something but nothing that wouldn’t be possible in blender.
Really nice work there, I enjoyed this so much!
Thanks, I enjoyed making it.
