Is this part of Rob Tuytel’s course?
If so I am doing the same course, I originally made it in 4.5 but I have no problem editing it in 5.0.
I am on my phone right now, so I can’t see it properly, but if it helps here is my nodetree.

I don’t think there have been any updates in 5.0 that should affect this nodetree.
