I’m trying to draw some abstract objects with NURBS to be skinned later on. It’s difficult to do this in 3D space because there’s no shading or thickness on the NURB object, and I can’t apply the skin modifier until it is converted into a mesh. Is there a setting or an easier way to work with NURBS?
No… have a look: for Nurbs-curves there is extrude and bevel if you expand Object Data Properties → Geometry
and you may use Nurbs-surface like @rigoletto suggested.
