Hi there. If anyone is familiar with the addon DreamUV by Leukbaars, you know how amazing it is for the asset creation workflow. Simply add loop cuts to a reference trim sheet, and then with a single button UV unwrap any mesh according to that trim sheet, based on angles, face area/dimensions, and seams
My question is, with all the advancements in UV unwrapping within geometry nodes, is it at all feasible to accomplish this addon’s basic hotspot functionality procedurally within geo nodes? That way we could unwrap our procedural creations according to trim sheets automatically as we create them.
If anyone has insight on how this might be accomplished or if anyone has accomplished it, I’d be excited to hear about it!
