Yeah, I’m a big LOTR fan, you guessed that right…
That was the most difficult render I’ve done so far. My pour laptop couldn’t render it and had to “cut” it into multiple render layers, but I think it was worth the effort.
Any comments are welcome, except about the grass(yes, it should me more thick, that would me my pc’s funeral…)XD

But despite your objections, I have to comment on the grass…
Contrary to your belief that it should be thicker, there’s NOTHING WRONG with it. I’d say it’s just right.
I’m in agreement with davidh7426, I think it is great - only thing I would suggest is a different color for the door to stand off of the grass, you might try some post work to trial and error that part without re-rendering
Love it! I’ve been to the real one and it does bring back memories 
If any critique I’d give you: push it to warm colors (you can do this in post.) It will feel more warm and Hobbiton like. You’ll see they do it a lot in the movies too.

But I added some blue hues because that made it look like a memory.
I think it’s really good. I like the grass as well. I would not change it.
I would change the door color. It’s too much green right there. Maybe a soft yellow to punch out the feeling of the dream of home.

I never liked Lord of the Rings… but it`s a pretty nice render. Some more color variation wold have been great though… The render is all green except the sky and that pink flower…
I changed slightly the colours now, can you see the difference? Pls tell me your opinion…
