Dropped in the Sand

I’m working on a simple little piece that features a pendant dropped in the sand. It looks like this so far:


Could someone give me some tips on making the rocks look like they’re buried in the sand? They really look fake now. (The textures are all UV maps, except the chain parts, BTW.)

Well, you can go into texture and pick noise. Then choose either UV or OrCo in Material textures. Then set to something like
0.8 For a good sand color, perhaps Nor too? I don’t know your skill so sorry if it isn’t informative enough.
