Well, here it is early Christmas morning and I’m infront of my computer. :expressionless:

I’ll bet you all can apreceiate what momentium will do to a person, especially where Blender is concerned.

At any rate, this is what I got for Christmas (a picture good enough to be considered a WIP)

Nothing much has been done about lighting as of yet but comments and suggestions about modeling, composition and Env Mapping would be helpful.

duuuuuuuuuuuuuude! nice christmas present! :slight_smile:
can’t tell what make they are from this pic, and i’m not good enough to guess… I play Yamahas, but the wrap isn’t nearly as nice as the ones you’ve rendered (just deep yellow with wood hoops on the bass)…

comments RE the scene: maybe some more detailing on the hardware, such as the nuts, and joints… maybe a pair of sticks resting on one of the floor toms would look cool. and maybe the cymbols could be shinier?
