I tried to make a drumset in Blender. Rendered with Cycles. I’m working with Blender since about a year and i’m still learning. Which version do you like the most? Maybe you have Ideas for improvement? Thank you and sorry for my horrible english I’m german:eek:
Other materials are really nice except the plates. That bump mapping just don’t work. I think it needs some sort of anisotropic material.
great job, but I agree the hammered texture on the cymbals looks a bit wrong. too random I think. You could probably make a nicer one using texture paint. and welcome to BA.
Thanks for your Quick answer I think Im going to change these cymbal textures. I think it looks a bit strange because I used a displacement with a cloud texture.
