Dual Monitor Support

Has there been any further development on dual monitor support? I know you can still have the window stretched across two screens but wondering if you can have floating windows now like the Adobe Suite.
Cheers,
Alex

You can do this in 2.5 via the duplicate window function (from memory I think it is: CTRL+ALT+W) and then you can change the window to whatever you want.

I assume you mean for blender 2.5 ?
Even since the early alphas hold the shift key down when splitting a window to get a floating window.

Ahh brilliant, that’s what I wanted.
Thanks very much

But I find it rapidly becomes annoying, since to click any button / control on a different floating window, you have to first click once to effectively select the other window, then a second time to activate the desired control. Infuriating! That doesn’t happen on Adobe CS4’s panels.
