Duplicate a material

Greetings everyone

Can somebody please explain how to duplicate a material?

I wanted to do this to preserve the settings of the original material and then only tweak the colour, but keep the original untouched.

On the object that has the material you want to duplicate, click on the updown arrows next to the name of the material and click add new, a copy of the material will be made with .001 .added to the end.:wink:
