Duplicate edges

Help I have duplicate edges inside of each other. I spent 30min trying to delete them. When I delete it I delete the one the connects to my model.

I’m not quite sure what thats means, but if you habe pure dulpicate edges, try Mesh → Merge → By Distance on them.

Thanks, I tried it on vertices since I was in vertex mode not sure if it can work edges though but it fixed the problem.
