Dupliframe chain tutorial

hi im new to blender and im having trouble with the duplifram chain tutorial. I got up the point where i needed to cuse the frames to alternate 90 degrees in the Ipo chart every 2-3 frames. I think im suppse to use extrapolation. the instructions tell me to mannually go into the Ipo graph and manipulate the nodes. Here is a picture of where exactly i am.
