I have a spinning logo with a particle emitter behind that’s throwing cubes out towards the camera. The logo is set to deflection with a perm’ of 0 yet the cubes just pass right through exactly the same as if deflection was off.
This is my first post in this wonderful forum, so please bear with me.
I do not know what your experience level is in Blender, so I will go over a few of the basics I know of.
Damping needs to be a non-zero number.
Make sure Random Permeability is not too high.
After you add a new deflection mesh, you need your particle source(s) to be recalculated. This can be done by using the RecalcAll button in the Particles Effects “window”
If this doesn’t work, please continue to ask questions, and I will try to answer them to the best of my abilities.
On the particale emitter , under the effects “tab”. The right of the top set of parameters, is keys. The Default for keys is 8. Set it to 100 and hit recalc. This usally fixes this problem.
