Is there a way to ‘uncalculate normals’ other than to randomly select faces and flip them? I want the parent mesh to attatch the dupliverts in a more random patern inside and outside. This is for leaves so it’s static. 2.23.
you could use a lower resolution mesh and use Fractal Subdivide (Wkey menu) a couple of times.

Thanks Theeth. I actually tried that and they all still point the same way. What I resorted to doing was making part of a mesh and then doing that Dup > S > X routine and join them all. Also found that if I flip the normals on the duplivert child I can get a whole new set of Track and UP axis combinations which is a partial solution. Thanks a lot!
