Hey i recently downloaded dvdstyler and cd burner pro, and i create my menus and make an iso file, then follow the manual on how to burn it, but it wont play on any dvd players. it appears to write to the disk just fine, but then it wont play… ive tried everything i can think of, so if yall could help me out or tell me some other program that works thatd be great. thanks
make sure you close out the DVD after authoring, before you eject. the last step is to like write out the directory or something. see a recent thread on compositing workflow for alternatives. Post a ? in that software’s forum or to those developers to help you with that software.
personally i like sony vegas and dvd architect. both come with fully working trials.
im a video professional, and ive tried alot of stuff for making and editing videos and making dvds. there is Adobe Encore also, but believe me, sony’s efforts are better. cheaper too. DVD architect comes bundled with vegas, cant buy seperate, but Sony also make a cut down version (although, its still fully loaded feature wise, for $50!!!) aimed at home users, dont consider anything else.
if your rich and want to spend around $500 go for the pro versions, if your poor and $100 seems more like it go for this
if your still struggling to find that much, just get the DVD studio on its own for $50
