So I wasnt using dynamic, but must to use collision, I guess. So now my objects are falling through space even though I have gravity set to 0.
Has anyone worked with this well enought to write a wiki? It would be nice to have some accurate information.

in the ge, the gravity is a constant force ,Global Z -9.8…
to neutrailize this, just put a force +9.8 global Z

No object with dynamic dosen’t fall when gravity is 0
just tried it out . (Yes version2.43)

Shoot, I didnt have gravity to 0. So sorry about that. I must have been testing it and saved it by accident in the test file.
It does work in 2.43
