Hello, I have two objects sharing the same mesh data(alt-D), the first has its location determined by constraints and is deformed using several hooks who’s targets have their own locations determined using constraints. Is there a setting in blender that will force the second object, to actively inherit mesh data from the first object as its deformations change without having to apply the same rigging and constraints.
Linked duplicate already shares object data (mesh), but the modifiers are per object, which is unique. Use instancing instead.
Cheers JA12, I hadnt looked into instancing yet, just getting my head around 2.8 now. Placing the object in a collection on its own and then instancing the collect does the job. Cheers again.
