I do have a question though
when I do something similar, the hair falls through the scalp
you appear to solve this by making it stiff enough so that doesn’t happen
but is there a way to make the scalp an obstacle so soft hair doesn’t fall through it?
just a little problem I’ve messed with and not found a solution

It doesnt really fix the problem of colliding hairs, but it’ll have to do untill the devs fix the dynamic hair feature
