Dynamic Paint controlling materials

Hello. I’ve got this EMP impact effect that I made, consisting of procedural textures. Now, this is all well and good, but I want it controlled by dynamic paint. And it works perfectly…


…from the viewport render. When I try to full render it, nothing shows up!

Looks like you’ve stumbled upon a bug…
You should report it to the devs (on the top menu, ‘Help’>‘Report a Bug’)

If you need it right away, and you can’t way for the Devs fix, you can change the canvas format of the DynPaint, from ‘Vertex’ to ‘Image Sequence’ and bake it.

Oooh… I didn’t realize it was a bug… I probably should, shouldn’t I?

To be perfectly honest, I was trying to avoid using image sequences, but, yeah, I guess I’d have to settle for that if I needed it right now. Thank you. :slight_smile:
