Has someone wrote a python script that sets the games resolution (in the runtime) to what ever the native resolution for that system is, i am looking at possible ways to control screen resolution and can’t figure it out as of yet.
Mouri has submitted a patch very recently for native support for Dynamic Resolution Switching conrollable via a python function.
We can expect this feature pretty soon. Thanks Moguri.
What? Really? Does that also work with other settings, as well (mip-mapping, full-screen, etc)? Thanks, indeed, Moguri.
YES! Hopefully that will come out with the next update.
Will it also allow us to render at lowres and 2D scale to higher res?
That would be a nice way to maintain a decent framerate on low end machines without hurting quality on high end machines.
That would be something interesting to have!
