I have a model in one blend file and a nicely setup scene in another blend file, how do I bring these to soul mates together?

Look under the main menu spot for “Append.” If you need further instruction, head over to the knowledge base and search for append. You should be able to figure it out on your own. You seem smart. Are snap judgements okay when they’re positive?

finally got append to work after half an hour of tinkering, thanks
TIP: make sure it’s an object and not a mesh
Well, Append works for Meshes, too… it’s just that they’re not immediately visible
