Early Christmas Gift.

I made this in an attempt to make a Christmas project, but lost interest in it. Thought maybe someone could use this.

**Note: I haven’t set the texture coordinates. You’ll have to make them yourself.

good , was it created with another application ?
how have you managed to cut him into traingles ?
thanks Shn275

I developed it in Max.

By the way, you can cut any mesh into triangles by pressing ctrl t.

ok , how can i make traingle tesselated back into quad ?
thanks

I don’t think you can. Making a quad into a tri is just cutting a line between them, but turning a tri into a quad would mean geometrically merging them…

i was wondering , would cutting them into traingles make it easier for the GE , all i know is that it allready does cut them into triangles , …

by the way , i have made a debug experiment in blender’s GE , that proves that cutting the mesh into triangles isn’t a good thing to think of .

edit :-
27 fps instead of 35 .

Interesting, i wonder what causes it. I really thought that it did make no difference, cause the graphics pipeline tesselates it anyway.

Tri’s to quads is ALT-J, I think…

There also a button on the edit object menu that say “JoinT”, or something like that, triangles must be selected first ^^
