Has the edit mode changed from previous versions with respect to how selected vertices are shown? I am getting the yellow vertice and part of the connecting polygon lines a different color. The faces are also shaded too. Is this by design? I think I like it. I’m not getting this when I open .blend files created with previous versions. Or even after I save them with 2.28. Can the old blend files be converted to contain the new features?
It’s documented in the release notes and has been discussed in many threads here and at .org.
No need to save them… just select ‘draw edges’ and ‘draw faces’ in edit buttons.
