Edit/Object/Pose mode scale problem

Hi. I just created an ant. It has about 5mm large. I created armature, but it had not worked, because to move mesh with armature, I had to scale it up, then parent mesh with armature, and then scale down again. Now it works, but in edit mode, my ant is still huge, and I can’t edit it, while in object/pose mode it is okay. Then I scale up it again in object mode, but it still is more huge in edit mode (hundrets of meters) What is wrong?
