Hi! I’d like to edit my original post here Speedsculpts to change the thumbnail.
It seems I can edit my replies, but this original post doesn’t have this option.
I don’t know if something has changed since then but i believe the following is still valid:
I don’t have an edit button on the first post, so I can’t attach anything to it, if I understand correctly.
it’s in the bottom of your first thread… The pencil icon left to the Reply button.
Yeah, but for that post the icon is missing, that’s why I created this topic.
It might be because you’re still in trust level 0… And in that level you cannot edit posts after 24 hours (docs)…
To get to trust level 1 you need:
- Enter at least 5 topics
- Read at least 30 posts
- Spend a total of 10 minutes reading posts
After that you can edit your posts anytime.
Looks like you have reached TL1 and you should now be able to edit your post. Please confirm.
Unfortunately, there’s still no edit button for posts older than 24h. Maybe it will work for fresh ones.
Actually, I was wrong - TL0 and TL1 users are limited to the first 24 hours (for spam reasons). TL2 users have an indefinite edit window.
