Editing an FBX but retaining hierachy and animation formats..

Hi there,

I’m doing a bit of work on an object rigged and animated in another program (Maya, most likely) and I need to make a few adjustments to the model, but on re-export, the rig is now parented under an ‘armature’ object, rather than in the root of the fbx, and also rather than the single ‘take01’ animation, there’s a load of animations exported.

Also the animation has keyframes on every frame, rather than just at the actual keyframes…

Any ideas?

Maybe with an example file to understand what you want, someone may have the incentive to possibly help you. Otherwise if you can’t be bothered to supply an example why should anyone bother to take the time and effort and help you
