Editing imported .mdd cache

Hi all,

I’m trying to import a .mdd mesh cache from a Houdini simulated cloth object. Works pretty well, but…

In my shot I’ve got a ‘bullet time’ section in the middle, where I’ve space out the animation keyframes hugely for (almost) frozen time effect.

Trying to see if there’s a way of ‘baking’ the .mdd modifer in blender to shape-key keyframes/curves somehow, so I can stretch them out in the middle too. Applying the modifier as shape key, just seems to create one shape key.

Any ideas appreciated.

Don’t worry, I just found the import .mdd option (I had been using the modifier). And this bakes shapekey keyframes. Should do the job.
