editing mesh with bone deformation applied

Hey guys, I’ve got a character who is rigged, which I’m trying to edit the mesh of. The problem is, I move the vertices to the new position, exit edit mode, and the changes are ignored (I’m assuming because of the armature underneath). When I go back to edit mode the changes are still there, but they simply don’t show up when edit mode is exited. Is there any way around this?


Do you have any shape keys set? It sounds like you do, if you don’t mean to delete them from the panel in edit buttons.

Select your Base Shape, make the edits in edit mode, hit W >> Propagate to All Shapes.
