Eek, oh dear!!!

OMG did you see this, (((-----))), we need more developers for blender if were going to keep up. everyones taking off and we’re lagging(the bad kind):(.

Yes, that looks pretty.

But a million next generation tools and graphic enhancements do not make a good game.

Relax.

The only thing that I realy want for blender that the cryengyne have is the real time shadows its amazing!
the real time shadows of blender always gives headache, but, still a a awesome program, im a blender fan, a lot of functionalityes in just one package, 10 mega bytes.

Hell…

They make us look like dinosaur ahahah

Nice one EDGE

thnx guys, phew that is a definite relief.

aw damn… blender ge is doomed again. Too bad.

OMG did you see this, (((-----))), we need more developers for blender if were going to keep up.
You do realize that the CryEngine has over 500 professional, full time, paid developers…
The BGE has only a handful of contributors, which work for free, on their own time.

and we’re lagging(the bad kind):(.
There is a good kind of lag?

btw the cryengine 3 for xbox/ps3 is worse than cryengine 2 graphics wise. It wasnt realy a good example to show what bge is missing. Anyway idc for good graphics, you need a good comp to play a crazy graphics game with bad gameplay(which i have lol). I like making the old low poly models with 256x256 textures

Face it, we will never be able to hold a candle to professional engines like that one. Not unless we find a gold mine of devoted developers in a hole somewhere.

Face what ?

Nobody know what blender will be in 5 or 10 years,

I’ve doubt that it will get close to a proffesionnal game engine,
but I’ve absolutely no doubt that it’s gonna be more impressive each year.

Of course, as many pointed out, the strengths of blender may not be to go
into stunning graphics and incredibles new features, but rather in fun
games with interresting game play and original scenarios from commons
artist like us from all over the world.

Lots of work and similar stuff can be achieved in blender. But people pay for graphical games, not crappy looking games that are are tons of fun.

Sigh… it sure didn’t take long to go from “wah! we want realtime shadows!” to “wah! these realtime shadows aren’t good enough!”
How about we all stop complaining and start making games instead?

(leonnn, I want you to know that I’m not criticizing you specifically. This is directed at everyone.)

WHAT THE F…
That looks like a render that took like 1 hour, NOT a game.
What is this, some sort of joke?!!

Let’s taking this way

How about we all stop complaining and start making games instead?

That’s what I do sir, that’s what I do

Patience friend someone will find them soon enough… .)
