Are you sure, or is that inferred? Otherwise it depends on how they’re using it: Library Overrides work well for rigs, but falls short for asset modification: Links & Library Overrides are still glitchy after 4 years of development
Obviously, developers that are owners of a specific module have to allocate their time to that.
Libraries seem to be one of the neglected modules. I hope it gets some attention. It’s the only part of Blender which gives me any grief.
Sometimes, a contributor comes along and implements something some users requested. That’s the beauty of open source.
I’m learning the Blender source so I can contribute, unsurprisingly to overrides.
And Blender also listens, but especially to people that use Blender professionally, like other studios (if they reach out, that is).
But… how? I’m using Blender professionally for animation. One of the frustrations is the lack of channels. There’s RightClickSelect, but requests sit on there without any indication they’ve been noted.
