Eevee Glass material / specular only?

Is there a good method for creating a specular only material.

I tried a method using an add shader but that brightens the area under the it

Eevee’s reflections don’t work well if multiple materials use screen space refraction.

Is possible to make a specular only shader without using transmission?

I found a topic on this using Cycles that uses a layer weight node and rgb curves which works with Eevee though I simplified.

Don’t know if it’s best method but works for glasses layered over eyes with screen space refractions.
