When using background image in Eevee, the ambient light becomes too intense. No matter if it is plugged into Background node or directly into Surface output. And reducing Strength in Background node makes the background itself darker. Any way to set ambient lighting and background image separately? I know I can just use 3d object as background or skybox, but it is clunky
Use a Mix shader, with an Is Camera Ray Light Path as factor, to mix two Background shader.
First one controlling Ambient lighting and second one controlling Background visible in Render.
