EEVEE Viewport Render Image/Animation VS Render

Hello,

Excepted if I want using Motion Blur which is slow and dirty in EEVEE, what’s the point to use Render Animation (CTRL + F12) instead of using Viewport Render Animation in Rendered mode as it’s faster than regular Render ?

Viewport rendering is for work as a preview, and Ctrl+F12 rendering is for final output as we commonly call it.

Viewport rendering cannot be saved(Cycles rendering criteria) and Ctrl+F12 rendering must be enabled to save the rendering results.

Full render invokes all the scene’s stuff with render settings/visibility, typical example: subdiv modifier in full resolution vs. viewport subdiv settings. Different (higher) sample count will be used if Eevee scene render settings are configured accordingly.

Motion blur will be rendered.

Probably a couple more of things I don’t know of.

That said, wherever possible I use viewport render to render my Eevee animations - as you said, it’s a lot faster.

Anything involving multiple layers or passes.

“Viewport Render” is designed to be fast, and good enough to support “a viewport.” But it’s really not intended to “put EEVEE through its paces.”

But also, don’t overlook the “Workbench” render option. If you are at the point in your project where you are still exploring what you want to shoot, and have not yet finalized how you want each shot to eventually look, this can be a great time-saver.

No, the captured shots won’t yet “look” the way you want them to, but what they “contain” will be accurate. You can therefore push for “the final cut,” and then go back, shot by shot, to perfect the “look.”

Um, hello… listen I have some problems with eevee rendering(render: 64, viewpoint:16) in blender 3.6 version

I don’t know, what the heck it’s going on with eevee rendering, just please somebody help me or give me an advice to solve this issue.
P.S thank you

To me, that looks like an issue with your GPU, or driver, or both.

It appears to be a graphics card issue.
Try uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it.

If you still have problems after reinstalling the driver, it would be a good idea to test the graphics card for errors.

OK, thanks for advices
I’ll try that
